Delete your account

Banner Lands, by XMind Labs

You can delete your Banner Lands account and the data that goes with it at any time, from the game or by email. Deleting cannot be undone: your heroes, items and gems are lost with the account, and your city is left without a lord.

From the game

1. Open Settings.
2. If you want a copy first, tap Export my data.
3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

By email, without the game

Write to support@bannerlands.com from the email address linked to your account, or give us your account number (shown on the game's Support screen). We may ask you to confirm the account is yours, then we delete it within one month and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• your sign-in links (Sign in with Apple, Google, email), your devices, sessions and profile; your player name becomes free for others;
• in every kingdom you played in, your player is renamed “Deleted account”, loses its portrait and leaves the rankings;
• your mailbox is emptied, and your devices' notification tokens are forgotten;
• your identifiers in the game's gameplay statistics.

What is kept, and for how long

• your city: it stays on the map as a colony without a lord, tied to no identity, until it leaves the map like any castle whose lord has not been seen for fourteen days;
• your account and player identifiers, with the date of deletion, in a register of deleted accounts, so that the game's statistics forget you too, for the time the privacy policy gives;
• the record of your purchases (product, date, store transaction number), for ten years, because accounting law requires it; it no longer shows your player name;
• the messages you sent to other players stay in their chat and mail, shown under “Deleted account”;
• technical logs, for the time the privacy policy gives.

The privacy policy describes all the data the game uses.
